Auth-Gated: URL Tagging

Declare which URLs require login and get warnings when unexpected redirects happen.

Step-by-Step Instructions

    Go to the Test Config Builder.

    In the Auth tab, enable authentication and fill in the login credentials (same as the Form Login tutorial).

    Switch to the Gated URLs sub-tab.

    Select URL prefix mode and enter: https://a11yscan.yantrakit.com/demo/tutorials/auth-gated-urls/admin

    In the Pages tab, add all the demo URLs (public and admin).
  6. 6
    Download the config and upload it in the extension.
  7. 7
    Start a crawl — the extension logs in first, then scans all pages.
  8. 8
    Pages under /admin/ are marked as gated in the results.

    If a public page unexpectedly redirects to login, you'll see an amber authWarning badge.
