WCAG reference

All 86 active success criteria in WCAG 2.2, grouped by principle and guideline in specification order. Each entry shows its conformance level and whether A11y Scan has automated checks related to it.

45 of 86 criteria have automated coverage. The rest require human review. A scan can find a missing image alternative, for example, but cannot decide whether that alternative is useful in context.

Open a criterion for practical review notes and links to the official W3C text. Automated results alone cannot establish WCAG conformance.

All 86 active criteria are listed below. Sidebar filters help you find a criterion to open; automated checks do not establish WCAG conformance.
