What you can do with a profile

The builder brings the settings you need for repeatable page and crawl checks into one versioned file.

  • Choose the pages

    Scan one page, follow same-origin links, or use a hand-picked URL list. Paste one absolute URL per line, upload a .txt file, or add, edit, and remove URLs individually.

  • Set up the scan

    Select WCAG version and level, axe-core, individual custom checks, viewports, and optional second-state captures after a matching API response and rendering delay.

  • Keep profiles nearby

    Save named profiles in this browser, revisit them later, and export versioned JSON to import into the A11y Scan Chrome extension.

Need to limit a crawl?

Add your page URLs in the builder.

  1. 1. Open the builder and enter the Website target, such as example.com/docs.
  2. 2. Under Pages to scan, choose URL list. Paste one absolute HTTP or HTTPS page URL per line, or upload a plain-text .txt file.
  3. 3. Review the list. Add, edit, or remove individual pages. URLs must stay within the Website target; duplicates and fragments are removed on import.
  4. 4. Save or download the profile. Import the JSON into the extension to use the selected page list for a crawl.
