Build and use a JSON scan profile
Turn scan choices into a portable configuration and confirm the extension uses it on the intended site.
What you will get
You will have a versioned JSON profile that can be downloaded, imported, edited, and used for a matching target.
Follow these steps
Open the free Test Config Builder. Set the target to the site you plan to scan, then choose your WCAG version, level, and rule options.
Choose a scan mode. The builder marks settings the current extension cannot execute; leave those disabled for this run.
Download the JSON profile. Review it before sharing, especially if a future profile contains site-specific information.
Import the file into the extension on a matching tab. Check the effective settings and target shown in Scan before starting.
Run a scan, then export its JSON result. The report records the effective configuration so you can see which choices produced the findings.
Check your result
- Does the imported target match the active page?
- Do the selected WCAG level and rules appear in the extension?
- Does the exported result contain the effective profile?
