Page Rules: Login Gates & Interactions

Pause the crawl at specific pages that need manual interaction before scanning.

Step-by-Step Instructions

    In the Test Config Builder, go to the Page Rules tab.
  2. 2
    Add a URL pattern (substring or regex) that matches pages requiring interaction.
  3. 3
    Choose a wait type: Login (page requires login), Interaction (page needs clicks/input), or Deferred Content (wait for lazy-loaded content).

    Optionally add a description of what to do on the page.
  5. 5
    Download the config and upload it in the extension.
  6. 6
    Start a crawl on the Site Crawl demo hub.
  7. 7
    When the crawler hits a matching URL, it pauses and shows a message in the side panel.

    Complete the required action, then click ✓ Continue Scanning to resume.
  9. 9
    Click 🔄 Rescan First to re-scan the current page after your interaction before continuing.
