Create and import a scan profile
Build a JSON scan profile for a site, then import it into the extension and confirm the effective settings before scanning.

Open the scan profile builder, set the target origin and optional path, and choose the checks and page behavior you need. Download the generated JSON profile. The extension validates imported profiles against its supported schema before applying them.
In the extension settings, import the JSON file and review the displayed profile. Run a scan on a matching page and confirm the selected settings take effect. A site-restricted profile should not be used as a way to scan pages outside its configured target.
If a profile is malformed or contains unsupported fields, the extension should report the validation problem and keep the last valid profile. Correct the JSON in the builder or editor and import it again; do not assume an invalid setting was applied.
